Starring Ben Whishaw and Dustin Hoffman, and directed by Tom Tykwer, the movie was released in 2006 attracting good and bad criticisms.

An amazing book, with descriptions such that one could almost smell the setting and horror as well as the perfume. Another movie to add to my list!
ReplyDeleteI am glad i read this book, but found it to be horrific in places. There were times I had to stop reading - take a break from it because it was getting too intense....
ReplyDeleteI do not want to watch the movie as I think the casting of Grenouille is wrong - he is supposed to me insignificant and not a character you notice ...
